Imagine if Singapore were to ask countries for support right after confronting them over alleged breaches of international law, said Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security K Shanmugam in parliament on Wednesday (Nov 4). “I think members and Singaporeans can see how absurd and novel such a position is,” said Mr Shanmugam in response to Workers’ Party MP Fadli Fawzi’s position on Singapore's diplomatic engagement.
