Ujjain Municipal Corporation imposed penalties totalling ₹66 lakh on four agencies over delays and negligence in road-widening projects ahead of Simhastha 2028. Commissioner Abhilash Mishra inspected construction sites, reviewed progress and quality, and ordered additional manpower, faster debris removal, accelerated drain construction and timely completion of pending infrastructure works.
