Congress leader Sonia Gandhi met RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in New Delhi and enquired about his health following his recent routine medical check-up. Family members accompanied Lalu Yadav during the meeting. The two leaders also recalled welfare initiatives from the UPA era and their long-standing political ties. The meeting comes amid continuing efforts by opposition parties to maintain coordination and unity.
