#WATCH | In February 2024, we launched the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana with a target of installing rooftop solar panels in 1 crore households. In just 24 months, over 65 lakh households have joined this initiative. Electricity bills in these households have reduced by nearly 76%, and many families are now receiving zero bills. Several households are also earning by selling surplus electricity to the grid.
