The Supreme Court has permitted bursting of green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR on November 7 and 8, 2026, between 6 am and 7 am and 8 pm and 10 pm, in accordance with its earlier order dated October 15, 2025. The Supreme Court has allowed people in Delhi-NCR to burst approved green firecrackers for a limited period during upcoming Diwali festival. Thus giving a temporary relaxation to the existing ban.
