A 35-year-old woman has been charged with assault after allegedly punching a stranger in the temple in downtown Guelph, Canada, shortly before 3 pm on Thursday. The victim was walking with a friend near Wyndham Street North and Macdonell Street when she was struck and knocked to the ground. Police arrested the accused shortly afterwards. She was held for a bail hearing on Friday.
