Bhiwandi Taluka police have arrested five of seven accused for allegedly extorting Rs 2 lakh from ghee manufacturer Mukesh Patel by posing as police and copyright officials and threatening him with arrest over alleged adulteration. Two accused remain absconding. The arrested suspects have been remanded to three days of police custody.
