Responding to the INDIA bloc's rally against the Chief Election Commissioner, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra defended the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, saying the Opposition was spreading misinformation about voter roll revisions. Patra claimed the 13-crore figure included voters marked as shifted, deceased and duplicate entries, and asserted that eligible voters can be restored through Form 6.
