Around eight people, including three women, were reportedly injured after a lift fell from the fifth floor of Dhananjay Avenue, a seven-storey residential building in Nalasopara West, on Saturday. MLA Rajan Naik said several victims suffered leg injuries and possible fractures. Residents alleged frequent lift malfunctions and ignored complaints. Police and municipal officials reached the spot.
