A disaster control room is planned to strengthen the safety of the Sardar Sarovar Dam and improve emergency response. The projects aim to transform Ekta Nagar's tourism experience, improve infrastructure and strengthen visitor facilities around the iconic Statue of Unity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 23 projects and launched eight more at Ekta Nagar. The over Rs 426 crore package strengthens tourism, connectivity and civic amenities around the Statue.
