Pune has used 6.35 TMC of its 13 TMC water allocation for 2026-27, prompting the PMC to consider alternate-day supply after Diwali due to limited stock. Pune: The Water Resources Department has issued a notice to the Pune Municipal Corporation to implement a 15 per cent water cut, citing the possibility of a delayed monsoon this year. Pune currently receives around 1,660-1,680 million litres per day (MLD).
