Eminent interventional cardiologist Dr Shirish Hiremath passed away at his Sopanbaug residence on Thursday night at the age of 75 after a brief illness, leaving a void in the Indian medical fraternity, especially cardiology. Hiremath, 75, a senior and renowned cardiologist from Pune and former president of the Cardiological Society of India, passed away at his residence in Sopan Baug around 9 pm on Thursday following.
