Repair work is underway on a war footing along the Digapahandi-Aska main road after a British-era bridge at Palaspur in Odisha’s Ganjam district was damaged due to heavy rainfall. Reportedly, the bridge came under severe pressure after the water level rose to nearly 15 feet, washing away parts of its structure.
