Captain Smit Machchhar’s scars tell the extraordinary story of survival after a brutal attack inside the cockpit of FlyDubai flight FZ1073. Despite repeated axe blows, a fractured skull and severe blood loss, he found the strength to open the cockpit door and help save 174 lives.
