Assam Agriculture Minister Pijush Hazarika attended the state-level PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas in Mirza on June 20, where the 23rd instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Around 18.60 lakh farmers in Assam received ₹372.01 crore via DBT. Officials highlighted crop diversification, quality inputs and digital farmer registration reforms.
