Tens of thousands of people have fled southern Ethiopia into neighbouring Kenya as fighting intensifies between forces from Ethiopia’s Oromia and Somali regions over control of the border town of Moyale. Thousands of displaced people are sheltering in a school on the Kenyan side of the town, having escaped the violence across the border. Aid agencies warn that food, water and shelter are running short as growing numbers of people seek safety.
