Madhya Pradesh has announced development projects worth INR 539.18 crore in Ujjain as preparations gather pace for Simhastha Mahaparv 2028. The package includes road-widening works, redevelopment of the Bhukhi Mata and Siddhwat temple complexes, and construction of Amrit Dwar and Panchjanya Dwar. The projects are intended to improve traffic movement, pilgrimage facilities, parking and access to religious sites.
