In today's edition of The Tamil Nadu Brief by NDTV's Sam Daniel, we investigate the detention of internationally acclaimed economist and MIDS professor Kalaiyarasan by plain-clothes policemen in the early hours of the morning. His phone was allegedly seized, his family was not informed, and no FIR or complaint was shown to him. Police later called it a case of mistaken identity.
