Karnataka minister said the government had considered the demands raised by farmers and their representatives before finalising the increase. The price of Nandini’s basic toned milk, sold in the blue packet, will increase from Rs 46 to Rs 54 per litre. The Karnataka Cabinet has sanctioned an increase in milk prices by Rs 8 per litre, set to commence on November 1.
