Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that no speed challans should be issued up to 120 kmph on expressways. The announcement is likely to ease concerns among motorists who have received automated speeding notices despite driving within or near expressway limits. Speaking at a CII event on the future of India’s highways, Gadkari said he had instructed authorities not to issue speeding challans to vehicles travelling at up to 120 kmph.
