Sitar player Anoushka Shankar has warned fans that the promoter for her cancelled Kuala Lumpur concert, Shiraz Projects, has allegedly ceased communication and failed to fulfil payment or refund obligations. Shankar was scheduled to perform in Malaysia on October 4, marking her first appearance in the country in 14 years.
