Several parts of Odisha recorded heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours (ending at 8:30 am on October 29), according to data released by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar. Mayurbhanj district’s Bangiriposhi recorded the highest rainfall at 90.6 mm, followed by Boden in Nuapada at 90 mm and Samakhunta in Mayurbhanj at 89 mm.
