All govt, aided and unaided primary and high schools in Karnataka have been directed to celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava on Nov 1, even though it falls on a Sunday this year. The Karnataka government has issued a directive requiring all primary and secondary schools to hold Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations on November 1, regardless of the fact that the date falls on.
