Uttar Pradesh has launched Aadhaar enrolment and update services in 110 Gram Panchayats across six districts, allowing rural residents to access services without travelling to cities. The Panchayati Raj Department plans to expand the facility to all 57,694 Gram Panchayats. Over 75,000 Aadhaar services have already been provided, with Panchayat Assistants being trained as operators.
