Protesters flocked to two of Jakarta’s busiest thoroughfares, carrying banners critical of President Prabowo Subianto’s policies. Hundreds of Indonesian students and civil society groups staged protests on Wednesday in cities including the capital Jakarta against President. The protests took place across cities such as Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Pekanbaru and Makassar as President Prabowo Subianto marks two years in office.
