Tension gripped Mansa, Punjab, after police took possession of Daljit Singh’s body as his family and villagers attempted to take it to the ongoing protest demanding justice for slain anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh alias Jhota. Daljit Singh, a resident of Bhamme Kalan village, was found dead near Ramanandi village. His family suspects a drug overdose and has demanded action against alleged drug suppliers.
