Five people, including four members of a business family, were killed in a shooting at Hotel Bilas Inn in Guwahati following a dispute between the property owners and the leaseholder. The last rites for the victims were performed in their native places in Barpeta and Baksa districts. A Special Investigation Team has been formed to probe the incident, and the accused leaseholder has been arrested.
