NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 28, 2026: The Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C R Patil, has launched the Punah Bharan Mobile Application, developed by the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N) in collaboration with the National Water Mission (NWM), the platform leverages advanced geospatial technology. The Department of Water Resources, RD&GR, and the Ministry of Jal Shakti support scientific groundwater recharge planning.
