Odisha is likely to witness intensified rainfall and strong winds as a deep depression is expected to move towards Chhattisgarh. Southern parts of the state are expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall, with gusty winds likely to affect several districts. According to Manorama Mohanty, Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur are likely to receive very heavy rainfall.
