A special NIA court has rejected Shabbir Shaikh’s discharge plea in an alleged D-Company terror financing case, ruling that sufficient evidence exists for trial. The prosecution alleges he received Rs 25 lakh through hawala channels linked to Chhota Shakeel. The defence argued that no specific role in the alleged conspiracy had been established.
