Around 98 trees removed from Charkop for the Coastal Road North project and kept at Powai will be replanted at three sites within the locality. The initiative follows efforts by residents and environmental activist Mili Shetty, with BMC and MHADA permissions secured. It aims to preserve neighbourhood greenery and urban wildlife habitats amid infrastructure work.
