Hijazi Shawer al-Tamimi, a 70-year-old Palestinian shopkeeper and community leader, has told Al Jazeera that Israeli soldiers beat and injured him when he tried to return home to collect medicine and milk for his grandchildren. Al-Tamimi was hospitalised when he collapsed from physical trauma.
