Mumbai residents in several civic wards, along with people in parts of Thane and Bhiwandi supplied by the BMC, have been advised to boil and filter drinking water for seven days. The precaution comes as Compartment No 2 of the Yewai balancing reservoir is set to be recommissioned on October 28.
