PMC is checking firefighting water supplies, with only 22 properties receiving final clearance over the past decade. At least 27 high-rise buildings within Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits have yet to obtain the final fire safety No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the civic fire brigade. The pending clearances have prompted officials to check whether these buildings have adequate water supplies for firefighting systems, including hydrants and sprinklers, along with other mandatory safety.
