The Madhya Pradesh High Court directed Indore Municipal Corporation to reduce garbage van loudspeaker volume to permissible limits or by at least 25%. It also ordered sound meters at police stations, two volunteers per ward to report violations, publication of silence zones and compliance reports within three weeks.
