Indore water supply will be affected across areas served by 19 tanks after Narmada pumps shut for pipeline interconnection and leak repairs. Water supply in several parts of Indore will be disrupted on October 27 following an 11-12-hour shutdown of Narmada Phase I and II pumps for pipeline repairs. Indore water shortage fears have prompted fines for wastage, reuse appeals and monitoring as the city awaits its 900 MLD Narmada Phase-IV project.
