The ATSB has published the two remaining preliminary reports from its six ongoing investigations into aircraft coordination and conflict incidents at Sydney Airport in July and August 2026. Air traffic control staff resourcing and visibility from Sydney’s ATC tower are both being examined as part of the investigation into the two near misses in August – one between Qantas and Virgin.
