Craze for fancy vehicle registration numbers fetched Chandrapur Regional Transport Office (RTO) Rs2.20 crore in 2025-26, an increase of Rs66.21 lakh or 42.87% over the previous financial year. The RTO received 1,816 applications for choice numbers, up by 296 from 1,520 applications in 2024-25 during the year.
