The Income Tax Department is stepping up outreach to UAE property owners and other taxpayers as around 1,100 declarations have been filed under FAST-DS ahead of the December 31 deadline. Around 1,100 taxpayers have filed declarations under the Foreign Assets of Small Taxpayers – Disclosure Scheme, 2026 (FAST-DS), as the Income Tax (I-T) department steps up efforts to encourage disclosures before the December 31 deadline, sources in the finance ministry said.
