IISER Pune has reportedly withdrawn Umar Khalid’s book from its library after social media criticism; the book examines Adivasi history in Jharkhand. The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune has reportedly withdrawn a book based on activist Umar Khalid’s doctoral research from its Srinivasa Ramanujan library after it faced criticism on social media. The book was initially added to the collection of the library two days ago.
