At Marble Arch Bus Stop K last night, a crowd of self-described transport enthusiasts were gathered, waiting to board the last ever bus to drive all the way down Oxford Street. They could barely contain their excitement when the number 98 bus arrived at 19:55. And it did feel momentous.
