The 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum has commenced in New Delhi, bringing together parliamentary leaders from 11 BRICS member countries and 10 partner countries for a two-day event. Held under the theme “Fostering Parliaments for People-Centric Development”, the forum will be presided over by Lok Sabha Speaker and Chairperson Om Birla. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the event and meet leaders of the visiting delegations.
