Around 120 tribal protesters were detained at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park during a demonstration demanding the Tribal Development Minister’s resignation, an inquiry into ashram school deaths and better hostel facilities. The students, who have protested for two months, said their demands remain unmet despite a 42-day sit-in in Nashik and a hunger strike.
