Traffic bollards installed at 20 locations across Bhubaneswar to ease congestion have fallen into disrepair within just eight months. Their condition has raised questions about the effectiveness of the traffic management plan. Several bollards have been broken, flattened or gone missing. Motorists also continue to block left-turn lanes, undermining the initiative. The Commissionerate Police had installed the bollards to keep left-turn lanes clear.
